Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Why this policy exists
Even though you send through your own providers, mail sent with CentricSell Mail reflects on everyone who uses it, and unwanted email harms recipients. This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Your email providers' own policies apply as well, and are often stricter.
2. Permission to email
- Only email people who asked to hear from you or with whom you have an existing relationship that the law accepts as a basis.
- Do not use purchased, rented, scraped or harvested lists, or lists from third parties.
- Keep a record of how and when each contact agreed.
- Marketing email must identify you as the sender, include a working unsubscribe link and your postal address, and honour unsubscribe requests promptly. (Campaigns sent through the Service get an unsubscribe link automatically.)
- Follow the anti-spam laws that apply to you and your recipients, such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR/PECR and their equivalents.
3. Content you must not send
- Phishing, or anything impersonating another person, brand or organisation.
- Malware, or links to it.
- Deceptive subject lines, forged headers or sender details.
- Illegal content or offers, including illegal goods, gambling or financial schemes where not licensed, and content that infringes others' rights.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or sexual content involving minors (which we report to the authorities).
4. Healthy sending
- Keep bounce and complaint rates low. As a guide, aim for under 2% bounces and under 0.1% spam complaints; above 4% bounces is a sign of a bad list. The dashboard shows your rates.
- Stop emailing addresses that bounce or complain - the Service suppresses them automatically; don't work around that.
- Authenticate your sending domains (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). The Service requires this before you can send.
5. Using the Service itself
- Don't attempt to break, overload or probe the Service, or access other customers' data.
- Don't share accounts or resell access without our written agreement.
- Don't create several accounts to get around plan limits or a suspension.
6. What happens if this policy is broken
We may investigate reports and ask you to fix problems. Where needed we may suspend sending, without notice if there is an urgent risk, and close accounts for serious or repeated breaches. We may also tell affected email providers or the authorities where the law requires it.
7. Reporting abuse
Received unwanted email sent with CentricSell Mail? Forward it with its full headers to centricsell@gmail.com or contact us. We review every report.
